The Course
The route is well-marked and marshalled. While much of the course is on good tracks, as befits a fell race, there are some more technical sections featuring rocks and roots on both the ascents and descents. There are no mandatory kit requirements, though this is at the Race Organiser’s discretion on the night.

⚠️ Important Parking Info
We have historically had over 100 teams enter this event. Because we do not have exclusive rights to the Danefield car parks, parking is extremely tight.
- Car sharing is essential. Please travel with your team.
- Please park responsibly. Do not block verges. We recommend using Surprise View, informal laybys on Old Lane, or East Chevin Quarry and using the walk as a warm-up.
- Alternatively, park in Otley and walk up the hill.
- Note: Charges now apply in all Chevin car parks (Contactless/Phone only). £1 for 2 hours, £2.50 for up to 4 hours.
